SkySight Photography had the opportunity to provide professional event coverage for the 5th Annual Westmoreland County Blight and Revitalization Summit held at Westmoreland County Community College.

My goal was to capture the full scope of the conference from keynote speakers and panel discussions to candid networking moments between attendees. A highlight of the event included the Westmoreland County Commissioners who spoke on ongoing revitalization efforts and community partnerships throughout the region.

My approach centered on intentional storytelling photography that captures both the atmosphere and authenticity. I love creating imagery that supports organizations long after the event ends. Strong event photography does more than document what happened in the moment it becomes a lasting visual resource that organizations can use for storytelling marketing public relations and future outreach. It helps extend the life of an event by preserving the energy the people and the purpose behind it in a way that words alone cannot fully capture.

The Blight and Revitalization Summit is a strong example of how thoughtful event photography can preserve the collaboration and momentum behind community progress. Events like this bring together leaders and community members working toward long term change and having a visual record of those conversations and connections helps keep that momentum visible well beyond the day of the conference.
